SABRINA GIVES PHOTOS TO POLICE SERGEANTS

TELEVISION'S Sabrina yesterday presented signed photographs to two police sergeants who had given prosecution evidence in a case in which she was a defence witness.

And she commented: — "It was much more nerve-racking to appear in court than in front of the TV cameras."

During the hearing at Sheffield Magistrates' Court Sabrina said she had made about 400 personal appearances in two years and had opened about 100 shops.

And it was the opening of a shop which had brought her to court,

"WHO IS SHE?"

A tailoring firm were fined £2 for obstructing the highway of Haymarket, Sheffield, and a public relations firm were fined £2 for aiding and abetting. They were each ordered to pay three guineas costs. Both firms pled "Not guilty".

When Sabrina opened the shop, it was stated, police reinforcements had to be called out to control the crowds.

The pavement and road was blocked and traffic was held up.

When the name Sabrina was mentioned the magistrate. Mr H Jenkinson said, "Who is Sabrina? We have no Judicial knowledge of that person.

"She is a well-known television celebrity," he was told by a witness.

Sabrina, wearing a close-fitting two-piece suit and a bright red picture hat, had given her name and address as Norma Ann Sykes, Bloomfield Road, Blackpool.
