25 Buckingham St

A copy of Sabrina's birth certificate (written in 2003) declares that her family address was 25 Buckingham Street, Stockport.

But in 2025 my research using Google Street View shows there is no number 25.

Sir Toby H, a Stockport Sabrinafan, wrote to me and - since he lived around the corner from Buckingham St, I asked him for a photo of Sabrina's first home. He said that it didn't exist:

"I can't see where no.25 would have been, as there is a road across the top of the street and no obvious evidence of anything ever being next to no. 23."

Indeed, close-up pix from Google Street View show, at the end of Buckingham St, number 23 on one side

and 24 on the other.

There is no 25.

I wrote to Stockport Council but did not receive a reply. I wonder what they're hiding....

The incident of the missing house only adds to the mysterious allure of the life of Sabrina.

But, to add to the mystique, the birth certificate (under the date of birth) says the "where" was 26 Poplar Grove U.D."

I don't know what "U.D."means, but there is a Poplar Grove in Stockport.

It seems that 26 Poplar Grove is the location of part of the Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.

Mystery solved (?)
